Hair Dye and Fishies

Zach decided to dye his hair black for state wrestling and now he feels like he is a freak LOLOL. He also dyed his eyebrows black and man does that boy have lots of eyebrow hair and just to set the record straight he asked me to dye it and I didn't know that his eyebrows would look like that, so stop blaming me ZACH. To top it all off he keep asking if I knew what I was doing. Gesh its not like it is rocket scientist stuff. DAH. On a smaller side note I got Jaxen some shrimp and a frog for his fishy tank, he sure did love them, couldn't stop giving me hugs and kisses. Then Tyler was wondering why he didn't get some. (Get your tank up and running).

Some Events Going On

Hmmmm..... These are a few things that are happening with in the family.... First Zach got second in the 215 pound division which gives him a chance to go to state and compete there. OOOOOOOOOw AHHHH. Then Brandi and Dad are competing in raquet ball tournaments, Brad in the OLD MAN division and Brandi in the Womens Doubles division, I actually listen.
Suzi has a choir concert, its not my favorite.

Suzi's Soaking Party

The family decided (LOL hahaha), I decided that for my birthday (which I only celebrate once in a blue moon) we would go up to Lava Hot Springs and soak in the pools there. Wow there were tons of people. I guess it just keeps getting popular as time moves on. Anyway it was a great idea except for the fact that most of us are Pickerings and we like a little commotion in our lives, plus Jaxen was a little disappointed in the fact that there was no diving bored and you couldn't really splash a lot. To distract some of the people talking, some of us (I won't mention names... Cordell's Sara) began to throw little pebbles at one another. Some even got a pant full of pebbles. Most of the time we all sat on some steps and would talk and catch up on everyones lives while making fun of other people. Later on we went to the pizza place in town and order 5 family specials (alllll the pizza was eaten) with the pizza being really good, in my opinion. Anyway we busted out the cake and had to make some sort of mess all over hmmmmm.... ME. It's all good, it came off fairly easy. Then was present time and thanks to any of those that participated. It was really fun. Happy Presidents Day Everyone. Hopefully I can get the pictures from Lar to post up. :)

Zachs Valentine Dance

This would be Zachs girl choice Valentines Dance. Sara was her name and she seemed really nice, from Arizona and she decided that she could actually put up with and handle Zach, little did she know...
They began the date in the morning over at the Ucon sledding pit. Then the two boys came back over to the house. I do not know what happened after that since I was the lucky one that got to run over to the tux place and the rose shop.

Artic Circle Fun

When Jaxen comes home from school on Friday and sees my car outside he knows that it is Suzi's week with him. He comes inside yelling "Sue," I, of course, hide. Then I hear him making comments to himself as he is walking around "well I bet she is on the computer" "she must be downstairs" at this point the game has gone long enough so I quietly say "no" to the downstairs comment and he wirls around to see me behind the kitchen counter. This begins the fun he knows he is about to have.

I think that the best place to people watch is at anyone of the fast food play places around. You have the parents/grandparents that are yelling at all the kids to follow the rules so no one will get hurt, the kids of course are ignoring them, then there is the parents that have to walk around making sure their youngest is okay, even though the youngest is waaaaay past the toddler stage and can handel it themselves, then there are the brave parents who sit in the lobby and watch thier kids through the window, yelling kids is not their forte, then there are the lazy ones, like me, who just sit and watch. The kids all have an unspoken rule in their land of freedom away from the adults. In this place of freedom it is believed that there is a bond amongst the parents/ aunts (me)/ grandparents that it is okay to interact with one another since our charges are interacting with one another. I find this amusing but true. While at the play place everytime I try and take a bit of my salad I hear "Sue watch this" then I stop but he won't move unless he has all of my attention, and he continually checks to see if I am, in fact, watching. We can only leave when and if his friend that he made while playing is leaving with his family as well. No matter what I love hanging out with him since Tyler no longer is my cuddly little boy. :(

The Begining

Well I decided since a couple of freinds have a blog and I actually like to go on to the sites and read about what is happening in their lives I figured people might be interested in the Pickering families life and one for me is toooo personal. So this is the start.
